Expected songs and album releases for Christmas 2015

The summer hits are still running but everyone is already looking for the new releases aligned to the strongest selling season of the year – Christmas time! So what songs and new albums are getting out there for Xtmas 2015?

Taylor Swift "Wildest Dreams"

After this week new single releases from 5 Seconds to Summer, Chris Brown, Demi Lovato we’ll have The Chemical Brothers, Paloma Faith, Sam Smith (new song for new Bond Movie Sountrack) and Sia. All of them releasing new singles   during September 2015 in UK and USA. Next month, October 2015 expect new singles from Joss Stone, Megan Trainor feat John Legend, Miley Cyrus, Taylor Swift, Arianna Grande, Jason DeRulo and Erasure – releasing a version of “Sometimes 2015”.  Also during late 2015 there will be new singles from Adam Lambert, Jennifer Lopez (JLo) and a collaboration of Robin Tickle feat Nicki Minaj. Some of these singles already have the music video available on Youtube.

But what record companies really aim to sell are whole albums and not just single songs. That’s why a lot of deluxe versions (some expanded with specials, others remastered), compilations and several original albums can be expected. We will get Paul McCartney early 80’s albums “Tug of War” and “Pieces of Peace” getting Deluxe editions. Also Van Morisson “Astral Weeks” and “His Band and The Street Choir” will get expanded and remastered versions. Tom Petty is releasing an album of old new songs called “Wildflowers: all the rest” – having all the previous non-releases leftovers from one of his best selling albums “Wildflowers” from 1994.

David Bowie "Five Years" Box Set
